Dr. Andonuts is the main antagonist of the EarthBound Halloween Hack, and the final boss of the hack's "good" ending.
Personality[]
Basically the same from Earthbound, but in the EarthBound Halloween Hack, he has gone insane and let loose various monstrosities. This change, however, lead to massive alterations in his psyche. We learn that Andonuts considers himself a failure as an inventor and acknowledges the lack of time he spent with his child (Jeff) and wife. When he sends his son and his companions to their eventual deaths, his self loathing as a failed inventor combines with his self loathing as the man who killed his own son, and his mind is unable to deal with the pressure. As a result he loses all sanity insane in this version of the story.
Main Story[]
Andonuts starts being a major character when Varik enters his lab, where he says a few of his starting lines from EarthBound before completely changing the tone, and making the player lose faith in him being sane. Varik is presented with the choice of destroying the machine that powers Andonuts's mind, or refusing to do that by pressing the B button(Toby called this a "relatively unknown programming exploit.")
Varik enters Andonuts's Magicant and starts searching for Courage (party members from EarthBound, with the exception of Ness)
Eventually, Varik enters the center of Andonuts's brain and defeats Andonuts's Id, which never attacks Varik. Andonuts then transforms into a much more powerful form, having a purple glow around him and using very strong attacks, such as PSI Bitchkill. Eventually this form of Andonuts is defeated as well which kills Andonuts in the process, forcing Varik out of the scientists mind.
