Comic Sans MS is a sans-serif typeface created by Vincent Connare at Microsoft. It is the font used by the character Sans in both Undertale and DELTARUNE.
Creation[]
Vincent Connare, who was working for Microsoft's typography team, was ordered to make a bunch of fonts, a lot of them being strange and childlike. After booting up a computer, he saw a dog talking in Times New Roman, which he criticized because dogs do not speak in Times New Roman. He eventually looked at the graphic novels, "Watchmen" and "Dark Knight Returns". He looked at the design of the letters in these graphic novels and attempted to mimic them on a screen, without sketches or studies, thus creating Comic Sans MS.[1]
